Global Net
Solutions Group has several self e-learning partners, who offer
e-learning implementation solutions, courses for teachers
interested in the benefits and uses of e-learning and general

• Academy of Educational Science and Technology, US Branch:
The US Branch of the Academy of Educational Science and
Technology has a threefold objective.
1) To provide consulting and technical implementation
services to businesses, schools, and universities adding
e-learning capabilities to their training programs and education
plans. The Academy specializes in customized e-learning
solutions – finding the combination of e-learning technologies
that best fits a client’s needs, and implementing that
technology as efficiently and inexpensively as possible.
2) To provide courses and certification for teachers who
wish to learn more about the benefits and limitations of
e-learning technologies. The Academy offers several courses,
with subject matter covering several areas of interest to
teachers expanding their curriculum.
3) To provide general distance-learning courses for those
interested in certain subjects. The Academy has a regular
schedule of courses offered online, and through other distance
learning formats.
• Academy of Educational Science and Technology, Middle East
Branch: The Middle East Branch of the Academy, headquartered
in Amman, Jordan, provides e-learning services similar to those
of the US branch with more emphasis on digitizing the concept of
education; turning school curriculum into an e-learning friendly
tool with proper enhancement and enrichment material .
E-Learning Program Design: Our most important strengths
are our
understanding of how learning works and the technical expertise
that allows us to do concrete implementations of e-learning
technology. To do a complete e-learning implementation, we go
through several steps:
1. We transfer textbooks to CD-ROM format, illuminating
ideas in the text with video and interactive media. We can, for
instance, add interactive audio-visual exercises to a physics or
chemistry textbook, or supplement the written information in a
history textbook with historic audio and video clips. Our
complete text transfer also takes several steps:
a) We begin by analyzing the course material.
b) Then we break down the main objectives which the
material conveys.
c) Next, we enhance and enrich the existing materials
based on our assessment.
d) At this point we may need to outsource some assistance
to education professionals.
e) Next, we set up a storyboard to lay out the new
electronic text design.
f) Finally, we add multimedia enhancements to the
material, interactive games and tools, etc.
2. We design online course materials in clearinghouse
format, linking web pages for specific classes to research sites
and other relevant sources of information. The clearinghouse, or
information portal, helps supplement existing learning
materials.
3. We set up a local network for the school that allows
administrators and teachers to share information through e-mail
and online bulletin board technologies.
4. We move tests to the network in electronic format, so
that students can take their exams on the computer, allowing for
enhanced evaluation techniques such as first and second answer
choice reporting and metrics based on subject matter and
question difficulty. This data is stored in a central database,
which teachers can access through a password-protected system in
order to evaluate their students and better understand how to
help them learn.
Teacher’s accreditation and preparation are the second major
area of concentration for the Academy. There is a great
attention and high international standards are put in place to
meet today’s challenges.
