Global Net Solutions Group develops an enormous variety of
applications and systems, using a wide range of modern
technologies. Depending on your needs, we develop using Java,
C++, Visual Basic, MS Access, SQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server, and
most other software programming and database technologies. We
can develop in most operating environments, including Windows
NT/2000, SUN Solaris, Linux, IBM AS/400, and IBM RS/6000. Our
system development services are timely and cost-effective,
delivering results when you need them. We run development
projects based on a four-step process: specification,
development, integration, and acceptance. |
1. Specification: The purpose of the specification
stage is to make sure that we fully understand your needs.
During this stage, we discuss what you are looking for and how
best to implement it. Then we write a specification, checking it
with you to make sure that it meets your needs. When the
specification is confirmed, we come up with a project plan, to
set up deadlines for deliverables and confirm expectations for
getting the system in place.
2. Development: Once the project plan is approved, the
system development stage follows project plan guidelines for
development deliverables, testing and acceptance criteria,
source documentation, and plan updates. The development phase is
usually conducted on-site, unless client resources are
insufficient, in which case we are able to conduct development
off-site as well.
3. Acceptance: When we have completed development
and initial testing of the system, user acceptance must be
verified. This means that the product must be tested
collaboratively so that you can confirm that it meets the
expectations set forth in the project plan. This stage may
involve small changes and fixes to the implementation.
4. Integration: After user acceptance is verified, we
integrate the new application into your existing systems so that
it can run in a production environment. When the application is
fully integrated, we verify again that it meets all expectations
set forth in the project plan. Finally, during the integration
stage we also support the system to troubleshoot any problems,
answer questions, and transfer all the knowledge about the
system to its primary users.
